Ferrochrome LignoSulfonate is a special mud deflocculant and a water-loss-control
agent used in water-base mud systems. It has characteristics of
anti-high temperature, anti-electrolytes and etc.

Characteristics:

The characteristics of the excellent
thinning performance, the filtration-control capacity and the
powerful anti-electrolytes capacity make it suitable for all kinds
of mud.

With
characteristics of Anti-high temperature, it may be used normally at
150-160’C, and even used at 200’C with lignite or other kinds of
temperature-resisting chemicals.

It is also an
excellent emulsifier for the water-oil mud.
Applications:
0.5-1% as mud deflocculant or 2-5% as
water-loss-control agent is to be added into drilling mud in the form
of either water solution or powder. After each addition, it is
necessary to adjust the PH value of the mud system to an approximate
range of 9.5 – 10.5.
